Munira Mohammed Lari is an advocate at the Abu Dhabi office of Baitulhikma Lawyers. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Saint Joseph University College of Law (Dubai Branch) and is a fully accredited member of the Emirates Association of Lawyers and Attorneys. Munira is fluent in Arabic and English and is a key contributor to Baitulhikma Lawyers’ success in the Abu Dhabi Courts.

Mohammed Ayyad is primarily responsible for drafting the pleadings before the Abu Dhabi Courts.

Mohammed read law at Ain Tanta University, Egypt and obtained a bachelor’s degree in law in 2006. Prior to joining Baitulhikma Law Firm, he was self-employed as a lawyer and legal advisor in Egypt.

Ismail is a senior legal advisor at Baitulhikma Law Firm’s Abu Dhabi office. He is a Jordanian-educated legal advisor with more than 15 years’ worth of experience in banking, insurance and general corporate matters in the UAE and acts as the firm’s representative in court-appointed experts’ meetings.

He is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Tahir Al Tahir is a senior legal advisor at Baitulhikma Law Firm’s Abu Dhabi office.

He is a Syrian and Egyptian qualified attorney with over 15 years’ worth of experience of general corporate matters. Tahir is the firm’s real estate specialist; with particular expertise in commercial and residential rent dispute matters in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Tahir is fluent in English and Arabic.

Sabu Damodaran is a senior legal advisor at Baitulhikma Law Firm’s Abu Dhabi office.

He is an Indian-qualified attorney with more than 15 years’ worth of experience in corporate and commercial matters in both India and the UAE. He specializes in general corporate matters including company formation, minority shareholder protections and shareholders agreements.

He is fluent in Malayalam, Hindi and English.

Hani Gawrieh is a senior legal advisor at Baitulhikma Law Firm’s Abu Dhabi office. Hani is a Syrian-qualified attorney, with over 20 years’ worth of experience in the UAE and Syria. In addition to his work at Baitulhikma, Hani is also a registered legal expert with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.

Hani is fluent in Arabic and has a working knowledge of French.

Ahmad is an English-law solicitor-advocate with 14 years’ post-qualification experience. He is a managing Associate at Baitulhikma Lawyers and specializes in venture capital, private equity, media law and corporate commercial law in the United Arab Emirates, British Virgin Islands and England & Wales. Prior to joining Baitulhikma, Ahmad held legal positions at twofour54 Abu Dhabi, Herbert Smith Freehills in Dubai and Clifford Chance in London. Ahmad read law at the University of Bristol. He is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Turkish and Arabic.

Mohammed Issa Al Suweidi is the Senior Partner at Baitulhikma Law Firm. He is a UAE-qualified attorney with more than 30 years’ worth of experience in the UAE and has rights of audience before all local and federal courts of the UAE.

Mohammed specializes in general corporate and commercial matters and holds a master’s degree in Commercial Law from Cardiff University. Prior to private practice, Mohammed served as the Labor and Social Affairs Undersecretary for the Federal government of the UAE for more than 15 years.

He is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Subhi Ahmad is Baitulhikma Law Firm’s Managing Partner. He has experience in a wide range of sectors, including banking and finance, general corporate and insurance. Subhi read law at the University of Baghdad and admitted to the Iraqi Bar in 1972. He has been practicing law in the UAE since 1980 and currently has rights of audience before the Dubai courts in the UAE; the Supreme Courts in the Sultanate of Oman; and all courts in Iraq.

Prior to establishing Baitulhikma Law Firm, Subhi was employed at the National Insurance Company of Baghdad for five years before moving to the Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company. From there, he moved to the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) in 1980, where he was primarily responsible for drafting a range of legal documents, including letters of credit, loan guarantees, loan agreements, syndicated loan agreements and bridge loan agreements.

He left NBAD in 1985 to establish his private practice, where he was quickly acknowledged as one of the leading attorneys in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

In addition to his experience managing his own practice, Subhi is a registered arbitrator at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Arbitration and Conciliation Centre, and at the International Chamber of Commerce’s International Court of Arbitration.

Subhi is fluent in English, Arabic and Turkish.
